For the record, I keep been plotting an archtop guitar within my crown for a long time. I love the sensual curves of the build and carved top. I can’t become them out of my head. I will admit that the sound I am chasing in the company of this guitar is not the archetypal plugged-in jazz guitar sound most of us associate in the company of an archtop guitar. I am not a jazz player, though I love that style. I am extra of an acoustic player, fingerpicking, flatpicking and such. What I really similar to on an acoustic archtop is the clarity and power of the notes – sharp trebles and powerful mid-range. What I don’t similar to is the lack of bass. What I am going for in the company of this build is to arrest those powerful trebles and mids but in the company of the bass of an acoustic guitar. I am not the earliest to try this. I am within good firm when it comes to chasing this sound…
